Challenge: Create real-time Vizrt openers for over 20 Hearst Television channels, including prominent stations like WCVB Boston, WBAL Baltimore, WESH Orlando, KCRA Sacramento, and WGAL Pennsylvania. The biggest challenge was replicating the exact high-production-value look and feel typically achieved in post-production motion graphics — but delivered live, in real time through Vizrt, across multiple affiliate markets while maintaining perfect brand consistency.
Solution: Developed a dynamic Vizrt template system capable of delivering complex animated openers with smooth transitions, sophisticated motion design, and integrated data triggers — all executed live on-air. By carefully translating post-production motion design principles into Vizrt’s real-time environment, I successfully preserved the polish and impact of the original broadcast package.
